These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GermanShorts (the "Service"), an educational content project that produces and publishes short videos to help Arabic-speaking learners study the German language. By viewing, following, or otherwise interacting with GermanShorts content on any platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. What GermanShorts is
GermanShorts publishes short-form educational videos that introduce German vocabulary, paired with images and Arabic translations, on video platforms such as YouTube and, where noted, other social media platforms. GermanShorts does not operate a website with user accounts, does not sell products, and does not offer live tutoring, certification, or one-on-one instruction of any kind.
2. Educational purpose only
Content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is intended as a supplementary learning aid and is not a substitute for formal language instruction, certified courses, or professional educational services. GermanShorts makes no guarantee of learning outcomes, fluency, or exam results.
3. No user accounts on this website
This website (the pages you are reading now) does not offer user registration, login, comments, or any interactive account features. Any interaction with GermanShorts content — such as viewing, liking, commenting, or subscribing — takes place on third-party platforms (for example YouTube) and is governed by that platform's own terms of service, separate from these Terms.
4. Intellectual property
Video content, branding, and original material published by GermanShorts are the property of GermanShorts unless otherwise noted. Where third-party assets are used (such as licensed music, icons, or fonts), they are used under licenses that permit such use, and attribution is provided where the license requires it (for example, in video descriptions).
You may not reproduce, redistribute, or repackage GermanShorts video content as your own without permission, except for ordinary sharing/reposting features provided natively by the platform the content is hosted on (for example, sharing a YouTube link).
5. Third-party platforms
GermanShorts content is distributed through third-party platforms it does not own or control (such as YouTube, and other platforms that may be added over time). Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. GermanShorts is not responsible for the availability, features, moderation decisions, or policies of those third-party platforms.
6. No warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Language content is reviewed for reasonable accuracy but errors may occur; if you notice one, you are welcome to report it using the contact details below.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GermanShorts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the content or the Service.
